I created digital mockups of the Rialto exterior to ensure the design would fit inside the window panels.
Each segmented window frame has its area of interest using the theme of architecture. I used an analogous color scheme throughout the composition and used the Rialto Theatre's focal points, including the marble, rotunda, and grand staircase.
During the process, the panels barely fit in my studio due to its large scale.
I hand mixed each color and referenced my original design often to ensure every component is in the correct place.
Through careful planning, the mural panels fit perfectly.
The mural is permanently displayed at the Rialto Theatre's Van Buren Street entrance.
