"For this project, I wanted to work on something that is in the media currently with the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and now the appointment of Amy Barrett, a lot of LGBT individuals feel like their rights might be stripped away. That is why I draw this piece how I did. Two lesbian women are getting married with the text saying marriage for all, the all being in a rainbow. I feel like LGBT adoption and marriage should not be up for debate. LGBT people are just the same as anyone else, and they do not deserve to have their rights stripped away because of the Bible or religious beliefs. If a straight person can do it, so should LGBT people."
