Students identified a word that describes who they are and represents them. The text component is meant to relate or juxtapose the colors, as well as facial expressions. Incorporating the text into the composition posed the challenge of integrating a word that balances well with the piece. Each student chose a color scheme to use, including triadic, split complementary, and monochromatic.
