“My approach to the poster was for people to realize that dirty shoes usually do not look good. The phrase ‘you don't wear dirty clothes’ makes people realize that having dirty shoes is extremely similar to wearing dirty clothes. It is a bold statement that will make people want to clean their shoes because they realize how nasty it would be to wear dirty clothes every day. I am always passionate about fashion and shoes, so I decided to go with that route in this poster. Having nasty shoes is a nightmare to sneakerheads, and I wanted to express that in this poster. I used a nice, clean pair of shoes and a bar of soap, and a scrub brush to give that clean feeling to the poster.”
